В 2016, в день А-тяна, Финнкитти и всего красного, нет этой песни и надписи на фрагменте чокографа, являвшей бы собой загадку-на-память: "Из всех куплетных строк какую в Реальности принято считать единственным доказательством любви, а какая служит в Фантазии высшим проявлением любви?", - потому что это была бы наглость на глазах у всех, да еще с таким количеством намекаемых дядечек.
Каким бы ни было сегодня - файл с текстом песни ждет с 2006-2007, - у меня не выходит воспринимать "This guy was meant for me" или "Why should I imagine that I was designed for you" не как вселенскую наглость, за которую необходимо как минимум отдавить пушистый хвост дерзнувшего(свой собственный). Не удумайте сказать сие - это допущение принадлежности. Не удумайте сказать модернтокинговское - это допущение единственности. Не удумайте сложить так лапки - это допущение близости. Despair is forbidden, so is love.
